Book Review – “The eCommerce 2.0 Handbook”
Earlier this month, buySAFE announced a partnership with online selling solutions provider Infopia to integrate the buySAFE solution with Infopia’s platform. This will be a tremendous partnership, as it lets Infopia merchants benefit from the power of buySAFE regardless of where they sell – on marketplaces like eBay, on their own website, or some combination [...]
Secret Sauce Recipe Revealed!
Earlier this month, I wrote in this space about the invitation-only lunch event that buySAFE was hosting, titled “Discovering the Secret Sauce of Multi-Channel Selling Success.” I’ve been a bit remiss in recapping the event, which took place last Friday (6/15), but Jeff Grass has a great summary on the buySAFE blog.
This was a fantastic [...]
eBay’s Google Boycott Doesn’t Impact Site Traffic… Really?
From today’s New York Post:
“Ebay’s decision to pull its ads from Google’s U.S. Web site has had little impact on its total traffic…”
Really? Am I the only one who’s a little skeptical about that claim? Estimates put eBay’s quarterly spend on Google at $25 million. Considering that the majority of eBay’s search terms are [...]
Bookmark It – Sanoodi
If you’re a runner, cyclist, or just someone who enjoys the occasional hike, Sanoodi is a site you must check out.
A clever mashup with Google Maps, Sanoodi lets you plot a course by dropping markers on a Google map and tracking the distance and elevation. When you’ve finished entering your route, you can save it. [...]
Chatting Up Seth Godin at eBay Live
Despite my disappointment with eBay Live as a whole, it was a very good show for buySAFE, as we had several great opportunities to meet with current and prospective customers and talk to them about how we’re helping to make e-commerce safer and more efficient for shoppers, merchants and marketplaces. Our lunch panel discussion “Discovering [...]
Windorphins? Wind orphans? Win dolphins?
I just returned from Boston after attending eBay Live. I’m not sure whether to attribute it to the location or simply seller malaise, but the lack of energy at this year’s event compared to previous years was palpable. I heard attendance estimates of anywhere from 6,000-7,000, compared to 15,000 last year in Las Vegas.
Equally lacking [...]
Google Takin’ It to the Streets
In case you missed it, late last month Google rolled out yet another extremely cool enhancement to its service, this time for Google Maps. And, as is often the case with a Google product launch, this one was not without some controversy (Boing Boing).
Google Street View, unveiled at the Where 2.0 conference at the end [...]
Mmmm…. Tasty! buySAFE Serves Up “Secret Sauce” This Friday
What goes best with Boston Clam Chowder? Why, secret sauce, of course!
This Friday, June 15, buySAFE will be hosting an invitation-only luncheon at one of Boston’s finest waterfront restaurants – Anthony’s Pier 4 (140 Northern Boulevard, Boston, MA). During lunch we’ll present a lively panel discussion titled Discovering the Secret Sauce of Multi-Channel Selling Success, [...]
